Lions Clubs International is a volunteer organization dedicated to community service. As the largest service organization in the world, Lions are an international network of nearly 1.4 million men and women in over 46,000 clubs in more than 210 countries in the world.
Founded in 1917, Lions are best known for working to end preventable blindness; however, they are involved in vast variety of community projects as well as numerous charitable programs. There are over 5,500 members in more than 200 Lions, Lioness and Leo clubs in Kentucky.
Beyond the ongoing charitable work that we do in our communities, we are proud of the Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation and the Kentucky Lions Camp Crescendo that have been established and are supported by the Lions of Kentucky.
